Opening its doors in 2001, Solo Classic music school has been a neighborhood staple dedicated to providing students with a rich musical education; as well as, encouraging the foundation of music programs in surrounding schools.
Our school provides unparalleled teaching methods centered on a diverse learning environment honoring the individual needs of our students. We believe that with the correct guidance, all students can achieve their musical potential.
In order to reach their highest potential, every student at Solo Classic Music School receives a customized curriculum based on his/her individual needs. Our teachers also work alongside local school programs in order to keep up with the musical demands of school orchestra programs, competitions, and auditions.
Solo Classic Music School encourages original thinking and tests the boundaries of conventional approaches, because music is art after all! We firmly believe in providing students with a diverse array of educators from all backgrounds so as to broaden the scope of understanding concerning music performance and beyond. Our master faculty includes graduates from Northwestern University, The Manhattan School of Music, The Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, members of the Civic Orchestra, Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, Northbrook Symphony Orchestra, and Highland Park Strings.
In addition to weekly lessons, our students also have the opportunity to perform in any of our four seasonal recitals for an audience comprised of their peers, friends, and family.
Solo Classic Music School is expanding. Seven more rooms are open for private violin, viola, cello, piano, guitar and vocal lessons for any age and level. Along with our mussic lessons we offer many performance oportunitiese including Solo/Ensamble Competition (IGSMA), Illinois Music Education Association(IMEA) Competition, Walgreen National Concerto Competition (MYA) etc.
